We’re back up and running
On Tuesday 24th March 2020, and for the first time in the 40 year history of Down to Earth, we took the decision to cease trading on the simple basis that we wanted to keep all of our employees, their families and our clients out of harm’s way from the ever changing and very worrying effects of Coronavirus.
Following six weeks of closure, the Government reviewed the restrictions for ‘outdoor workers’ and published revised guidance in tandem with Public Health England. Based on this, we risk assessed our operations focusing on maintaining safe working practices during this period, and began operating again on Monday 4th May 2020 with enhanced measures for limiting the risk of potentially spreading the virus.
All DTE operations will closely follow our own specific Covid-19 risk assessment with strict social distancing procedures implemented, this will be for all employees and we will be asking clients to also respect this to keep all parties safe and stress free. All clients will be issues with these guidelines prior to works commencing. All employees will follow strict personal sanitising regimes for personal hygiene and their kit and equipment.
I am sure you can appreciate this is an extraordinary ongoing situation, we value our clients immensely and consider you the lifeblood of our business, without you we aren’t a business, and we want to thank you for your support and patience.
We wish you and your families well
Very best wishes
